FINALITY (Free Verse) Poem 3 of 3

Black drops of rain during a fiery sunset
Blazing heat scorching the drenched earth
A final tango at the extinguishing of the Sun
Eternal darkness to come between our bodies

We embrace with tears in our eyes, fire in our hearts
Let us shout together like the wolves of the night to show the universe we exist
An end of all, the death of our world, untimely but self fulfilling
and yet we together attempt to live forever in the heat of sensuality

Hold me tight as we watch the moon shatter crashing into a land beyond the horizon
Let us squeeze tighter as we watch Mercury caress Venus in chaotic love
Forgetting where living ends and death begins lost in bliss of oneness
Ending with living

Together we will conceive a child of consciousness,
Giving birth to a mind beyond life
Soul beyond light, body beyond the physical
The light of Passion living in the darkness of materials ending.

RESERVOIR (BALLAD POEM)

LIGHT promo
ANGEL FINE ART LINK

Swishing build up of cold pressure
Against the splintering wood of our weak hearts
Fragility informal avoidance of issues yet uncovered
When like a secret bubble our hearts burst releasing waves of liquid hurt

The fire extinguished by our cold fluid
We touch briefly, trying to believe the fire would reignite
We knew each other as one in bliss but drowned in the deep waters of pain
Together we danced but our tears were hidden by the rain of a heavenly river

Emptiness was our home as we splashed into the blue abyss
Words of fire left our lips scorching the Earth on which we once stood
Nothing was left in the wake of our devastation, your quivering lips
Upon which I once would plant a kiss are now filling my lungs to burst

Slowly I float down into the trench
The deepest depth of obscurity
Tears cannot be seen under the ocean
An ocean where names do not exist

We will not survive the bursting of this reservoir.

Beauty Acrylic Print By Mikial Millard

Liquid of life runs from her eyes a blue stream turned gold in the morning SUN
The softness of her finger tips holding a body shattered like thin glass
A veil darker than black covers the teary eyes of an only SON
Ashes of her heart floating on the wind into the void as would a blade of grass

LEGACY (OCCITAN SONNET FORMAT)

Piece by piece I come apart disintegrated into nothing but mind
Losing love & heart as the world I knew unravels like an illusion
A feeling of pain for loss of all that I know cessation of time
I will never give up swimming toward truth through delusion

Hear my cries in the void of curves and lines
Screaming to all as the ship of life sinks under watery diffusion
Together they fall but alone I stand neither is the better line
So I leap to touch a tear from a Gods eye transcending the confusion

One day I will be gone leaving a legacy of light
A dream manifested of hope
For members of the family of good to leave behind their plights
To climb the steep wisdom slope

No more tears blurring their sight
See clearly and never give up hope.

ALL TOGETHER & ALL APART (ELEGY)

IMG_0088

Down the dark wet hole which leads into life
Through the night by swiftness of mind and fire of heart
All together and all apart

From my frail body the other departs
From the shadow full of light
Careening through the tunnel of might

Beyond the heavens thickened light
Stripped of the luminous illuminated plight
No clothing of body no parchment of light

Naked here beyond the sight
The womb of Gods bearing tight
Giving birth beyond the night

Parched am I for wisdom beyond knowledge
Bored am I with Life
Hating the body In love with wisdom
Seeking shelter beyond worldly strife.

THE END OF US (Epyllion-Hexameter-Little Epic)

Know Thy Self Acrylic Print By Mikial Millard

http://fineartamerica.com/products/know-thy-self-mikial-millard-acrylic-print.html

Kiss me as the stars fall from sky
Don’t look as the moon kisses mars
What beautiful disaster comes
As we lay here in ecstasy

Look yonder at the burning woods
leaping flames lesser than our hearts
Animals dashing but our hearts faster
The end of them the start of us

Liquid soil in which men sink
The Sun grows dimmer by the hour
We will conceive a child of MIND
As mother Earth destroys our bodies

Feel electric of my fingers
As I taste fire of your lips
No, don’t see the one’s who suffer
Together we make a new SUN

Hold firm to me the time has come
To see if love is eternal
The cold waves are now upon us
Waves of pain Tsunami of mind

The waters fill my lungs swiftly
I speak with my eyes only now
Under water holding you close
Eternal our love forever

SOLACE (Free Verse)

Blue starlight dripped from the sky like wet paint
The brightness of the sun was as dark as the clouds of my heart
Her thorn fed poison to my heart even when it could drink no more
There was no Solace standing in the scorching rain, kissing her black painted lips whileĀ my heart exploded into newborn stars.

WINTERLONG (Diamante Poem)

Liquid Flame
Burning in my icy heart
Furnace of frost being nothing to everything
Flower shaped raindrops wilting backwards into seeds
I reach out to touch an illusion, a flash of lightning
My mind cries tears of consciousness
I die of passion a rose of lips

LILIUM (Free Verse)

So deep a cold depth covered me
Such tears never wept by a rose
Cold notes forever sung
Wooden lips splintering with a kiss
Tongue of light speaking my name
Sauntering into a beating heart void of rhythm.

My fire had gone out
blown out by a wind of pain
sadness filled the heart.
